I have a domain paid for one year with webdomains4u.com. I also have a free web hosting subscription through freehostia.com. i know some html and have used programs like geocities and such. so now that i have domain and hosting, how can i create my site and actually see it on the internet for the first time?

learn html, css, php, and a script language, then make a page, and upload it to the host server. use w3 school to learn how to do so.

Other Replys:Ok. the easiest thing to do is go to google. what do you want on your page. if you want a background with a picture in it, simply type in how do i put in a picture background using html? they will without a doubt, come up with somekind of coding. i%26#039;ve made websites, i just dont put em on the internet. i do it for the hell of it and honestly, anything you want put on there you can find on google. someone has a website out there with exactly what you want. wether you want a colored sidescroller, of a funky mouse. i love doing this it%26#039;s so much fun for me. HTML is the easiest one to use tho... definitely.
