I have a site hosted on bravenet (www.yorkdogshow.com). I%26#039;m completly redoing it, it%26#039;s going to become something completly different (a dog SIM game), so I wanted to replace the index. I went to the bravent templetes, found one I liked and downloaded it to the index. It said that it would completly replace the page, and when I go to edit it, it did. However, when I go to the homepage (www.yorkdogshow.com) it shows the old templete, but when I go to www.yorkdogshow.com/index. h t m l (no spaces) it has the new one! Where is the old templete hiding and how do I fix this?
On my web page I replaced the old index with a new one, however when I go to my homepage the old one shows up?
If you use IE it could be a problem with that. Go to the domain, and hit ctrl-F5 at the same time. IE reads different urls as different, despite them being the same. I think Opera does too, but not sure. If that doesn%26#039;t work, try renaming the file index.htm or index.php

The old page is cashed you need to go into tools - internet options and then click delete files also delete all offline files.
Other Replys:Hit Ctrl+F5 - your browser is probably showing old cached information. Pressing Ctrl+F5 forces it to update the info from the website.
Other Replys:Rename index.html to index.htm, also your browser might be cached so be sure to reload the page.
Other Replys:If you want to replace the index, you need to rename the old one (like %26quot;archivedindex%26quot;), as well as replace all references to it in every other page of your site with the new index.
Other Replys:this is a site which is like myspace or some things similar, add it to favorite and wait it to launch, thanks, http://www.friendscyberclub.com/ it also has some thing similar to yahoo answers, find out,
