To setup a landing page, it is best that you will have your own web hosting and domain name.

This is because if you are using some free hosting plan, it might place some ads on them making it looks non-professional. Of course support and performance can be an issue as well since it is free.

Having your own domain is critical as well. Same thing, it looks more professional. The other thing is that you are going to promote this link, and thus it should be a permanent one. Imagine you start promoting you link via articles, ebooks, etc
