Please HELP!!!!

Which web hosting company???????

go to www.tophostreviews.com to check out the #1 hosting provider. linux and windows hosting are pretty much the same but you can ask the help desk to clarify.

Which web hosting company???????

I use godaddy. I have them for years with good up time and fast access. Now, whether you use windows or linux (Godaddy lets you choose) depends on thing like what data base you use, aspnet front ends etc.

Other Replys:Linux cannot host asp/.net pages. You can buy web hosting from websites like http://aplis.net/ .

Other Replys:http://www.LocoDomains.com or http://www.JuicyHosting.com they both are very very good

Other Replys:Definitely use HostNed http://www.hostned.com

They have premium web hosting for only $25 a year (like $2 a month!). Yes that is the latest Cpanel server, no ads or gimmicks. They have been around since 1999 and are top-rated. I have been using them for years and no problems at all. Very helpful staff too :)

Other Replys:I assume you%26#039;re a web designer. I suggest that you look for hosting plans that will enable you to manage more than one website in just one account.

For example, in MyWebbieHosting.com%26#039;s $4.95 plan, you are allowed to host 3 domain names in just one account. This is better than signing up to a hosting plan for each of the website that you will be managing. Not just because there is less hassle, but if you compute the cost, you can save much in this way.

MyWebbieHosting.com is my website%26#039;s host, and so far I don%26#039;t have problems with them. My site has more than 99% uptime, and the host%26#039;s support responds to my inquiries in less than an hour.

Their cheapest plan is $3.95 a month (I signed up in this)As I have said above, I suggest you sign up in plans that will enable you to manage more than one website (the cheapest is $4.95 a month). Domain name is only $9.50 a year, slightly cheaper than GoDaddy%26#039;s $9.99, but if you sign up in any of their hosting plans, the first year of registration is free.

Besides, they also have marketing and administration tools which you can use to monitor your websites.

With regards to the disk space, MyWebbieHosting.com%26#039;s cheapest plan has already 1.5 G disk space, too spacious for your 13-mb files.

Other Replys:Check out lunarpages http://www.lunarpages.com/castironhostin... and hostmonster. Hostmonster has excellent support which will be helpful for you since you are new to hosting.

Other Replys:If you currently are a web subscriber, your current provider offers a homepage into which you can FTP your current webpage(s) [which can be authored/designed using NotePad, MSN Word, FrontPage, DreamWeaver, etc.] and use the homepage hosting services. In a sense, you are hosting a commercial webpage via the homepage link and incurring merely the monthly access of, say, AOL.com, etc. Nevertheless, should you want to link your current domain name to the homepage URL, you%26#039;ll need to use a third-party redirection service, i.e., mydomain.com [which is free] or simply direct your domain name registry, i.e., godaddy.com to forward your domain name [with masking] to the link it to your homepage URL. It%26#039;s that simple.

Here%26#039;s a classic example of a commercial website built on a homepage website. Check out the following seach query at google.com using keywords such as %26quot;sandwiches downtown los angeles%26quot; [while leaving out the quotes (%26quot;)] - - the PR5 entry is %26quot;nazos.net%26quot; which is a homepage with redirection coverage to mask the homepage with the domain name of %26quot;nazos.net.%26quot;

Good luck!
